I'm Ingrid, the founder of Aoris Wellness and AORIS products. I want to share with you the personal journey that led me to create this brand as a life mission. It all began with a challenging chapter at the age of ten, when a bicycle accident left me with a serious injury that perforated my duodenum. I found myself confined to a hospital bed, unable to move or eat. During that seemingly endless month, I learned the vital importance of physical and mental health—a lesson that changed my life forever.
That experience taught me from a young age to value every breath, every movement, and every bite of food. As I grew older, my fascination with nutrition and its impact on our well-being became my passion. I discovered the transformative power of the gut microbiota and its intrinsic connection to our physical and mental health.

El origen.
Soy Ingrid Scharlau, fundadora de AORIS Wellness, y mi camino hacia el bienestar comenzó mucho antes de crear este proyecto.
Tenía 9 años cuando un accidente de bicicleta me perforó el duodeno y me obligó a detenerme: pasé un mes en el hospital sin poder moverme ni comer. En esa pausa forzada comprendí el valor profundo de la salud física —y la resiliencia del cuerpo.
Años después volví a caer, no físicamente, sino emocionalmente: en el agotamiento de querer serlo todo… perfecta, productiva, fuerte. Era una sensación de estar cumpliendo, pero no viviendo. Hasta que llegó el día en que ya no pude sostenerlo más.
No fue una ruptura.
Fue un despertar.
Un cambio de dirección.
Una elección consciente de vivir con más intención, más paz y más autenticidad.
AORIS nace de esos viajes de la vida: de las caídas y los renacimientos. Nace de una búsqueda… pero, sobre todo, de un encuentro.

AORIS is a new word in my personal dictionary, full of meaning. It's that thing we all carry inside: that light that sometimes hides, but is always there.
